About Amber Raine
I am a psycotherapist working with clinics and patients in the fields of skin treatments for scars including self-harm, comsetic and plastic surgery and aesthetic treatments. I provide seamless and remote psychological support to practioners and patients.
1. For Patient: I conduct initial pre-surgery psychological assessments providing an invaluable space for patients to explore their physical and psychological goals from surgery - ie how they hope to feel and live differently after their procedure, so they can be sure that surgery will fulfill these goals and that if they go ahead they go in with their eyes wide open and prepared.
2. For Clinics and Consultants: I also support individual consultants and clincs by bridging an essential gap in their consultation procedure. You can refer patients to me for psychological assessment and a written report in instances where you have concerns about a patient's emotional and psychological readiness for treatment and need more context.
3. MDTs - I am resident therapist at a number of Harley Street practices and can be part of your MDT too.
4. I provide short-term and ongoing psychotherapy to patients and clients on a wide range of issues including self-esteem, managing important life changes, family and relationship issues, anxiety and depression, loss of direction and feeling stuck in life, childhood wounds and patterns of relating

Amber Raine's Reviews
I got to the point where I literally hated looking in the mirror. My eyes had gone from being my best feature to being hooded and tired looking, seemingly overnight. My husband and I had divorced 18 months before, and the stress was really affecting my appearance and how I felt about myself. Having the counselling sessions alongside my surgery gave me such a boost and a focus about what I wanted for the rest of my life, a sense of new direction. It feels like a new start for me.
