I am a patient and retired consultant psychiatrist. Dr David Werring is a proper doctor. He listens, questions , examines and explains. In neurology we know how much we don’t know and often the prognosis is bleak. In spite of the sadness that inevitably hangs over the consultation, Dr Werring is kind and has a light touch when sharing his knowledge with the patient and his doctors in training. I felt a bond with him and his doctors in training. They are a team and I was part of it. It was a very special experience.
